A parrot who belongs to a merchant desires to become free from the cage. One day her master plans to go to India. But before leaving, he asks his beloved bird if there is anything she wishes form him to bring her from India. The smart parrot replies positively and asks her master to take a message to her fellow birds in India and then bring back their answer. the master follows the instruction, but there's a trick in the answer that helps the parrot to free herself from the cage and fly away to India.
