Feeroozeh Golmohammadi is an Iranian artist, born in Tehran and began her art education in high school and obtained a diploma in this field. She continued her studies at an art university in Iran and during years of experience she developed her own unique style.

Feeroozeh is primarily a Miniaturist and is highly acclaimed as the modernizer Persian miniature. Art critiques usually refer to her style as the renaissance of Persian miniature. Her contribution on this genre is to present traditional essence of miniature principles in an exciting new language. Her attempt is to explore the realm of universal ideals and to create subjective and symbolic art that strive to convey not just aesthetic values but also spiritual beauty in her spiritual quest for the ultimate truth.

Feeroozeh has been inspired and guided by the master works of great Iranian mystical like Rumi, Attar, Sohrevardi, and also Ferdosi, the Iranian epic poet. Through them, she has discovered that the ultimate lies beyond the perception of just the physical senses.

Ganine Despinette, the famous French critique best describes Feeroozeh's style in her international illustration critique book: "Les Imagiers de la Literature en couleurs": Feeroozeh's works from Ferdowsi with images of Rustam in Shahnameh, from fables of Rumi and from poems of Sepehri offer her spectators stories of Iranian great literary traditional in an atmosphere surprisingly out of current events and at the same time, quiet subtly modern.

The application of strict principles of miniature painting is relevant through her designs conducted to the tips of her finest silver feathers and the resonance of modern principles emanates from her personal and original manner of capturing the effect of luminosity in daylight or nightlight with the variety of colors she uses in her images.

Feeroozeh's interpretation of symbolic images of myth in Persian classic texts conveys a profound and total adhesion to the expressive language of Islamic arts. This happens through exuberant floral decoration, zoomorphic de- signs, the application of gold and silver for illumination and the reflection of poetic beauties that all exist in miniature tradition. It is with this iconic-textual replacement that a professionalism of unique expression occurs" Feeroozeh’s main focus has been on illustrating children's book and painting.

She takes keen interest in photography and writing. Feeroozeh was the Executive Secretary of Tehran International Biennial of illustrators from 1998-2002. Feeroozeh’s art are widely exhibited in Iran, the Middle East, the Far East, Europe, India, and the USA.
