The secret Of that tree

The king of Persia learns about a tree in India that if one eats its fruit he never grows old, neither does he die. The king sends a trusted envoy to India to find the tree and to bring him its fruits. The envoy wanders about in India, goes village to village, town to town asking people about the tree, but what he gets in return is their laughter thinking the man is crazy. After many years of fruitless search the desperate envoy decides to go back home, but on his way he finds a wise man and asks his help. The wise man tells him what the tree is and where to find it. The story is depicted mainly through illustrations. The poems are written under each related picture in Farsi and are retold in English.
